I wipe away my tears hoping you don’t notice because somehow I still think we have a chance. I wonder what I saw in you and maybe still see. I’m so confused about what I feel and what I honestly don’t understand is the part where I end up falling and falling over and over again. I fall into a sweet slumber knowing that this time you won’t be there and that maybe you weren’t meant to. My scarred wrists tell me otherwise. I wonder what you think of me. I’m over you, right? Maybe. I think about giving up and letting go and burning my journal from the year I met you. I must forget. I’d give my life to forget you. Yet I’d give up death and live with the memory of you forever. Please make it go away.
And when we wake up i'll dry my tears hoping we have said goodnight and not goodbye. Red drops fall to the ground forming a puddle as this sight [fades to black].
